The journey to Koh Samui started early by longtail beacuse we decided to stay at Railay beach. At 7 am we set of to Krabi bus station. The bus left at 9 and we arrived at Koh Samui around 3 pm. We found a nice hotel Chaweng Park Place. Wonderful cabins a nice pool and a LOT of stairs but it was worth it.

The first day we just hang out, went to the beach that unfortunately had to much current to really be nice but after a walk around the pond we relaxed in the pool. We found a nice place to hang out and play some pool during the light rain and it’s right opposite our hotel. They also show premier league football so that’s prefect 👌

The next day we had rented a driver. This is the best way to discover a place. Most of the drivers are very interested in making your day the best. We drove around to Big Buddha, waterfalls and temple. Right now we’re almost alone everywhere and it’s hard to se the people struggling. Almost 60 %of everything is closed.

One of the best stops were the waterfall. The water was perfect for a swim. The other place I thought was really interesting was the mummified munch. There is a lot of different temples as well and the are really beautiful.

On the road there some advertisement about a monkey show. This is not a god place to visit. All the animals are kept in chains or small cabinets and I recommend you not to visit this. If you want to see monkeys just drive out to their surroundings and I assure you that you will see them live!

Over all we had a good stay at Koh Samui but I didn’t fell in love with the Island so after three days we set of to Koh Panang instead
