We packed our scooter and set of for a weekend trip to West Bali National Park. It´s funny how google maps finds its way! We crossed rice fields and found out that a small path over a rice field goes as “roads” Wow that’s an experience! I would not recommend anyone to drive in Bali if you’re not used to it. The traffic could be very hectic, and the flow is not like you´re used to. You have cars and scooters all over the place. The drive took about three hours for us with some stop to just take in the landscape, Bali is such a beautiful Island.

When we arrived in the harbour Labuan Lalang our boat to the resort was waiting for us. It felt very luxurious the be picked up by boat to the hotel. We stayed at the only resort in the national park, and it was a great experience. It´s called NusaBay Menjangan.

The nature Is marvellous, and you have animals on your doorstep just imagen sitting on your porch and there’s monkeys on your roof. Just don’t ‘forget to bring everything inside, even if its only for a short time, The monkeys love to borrow your things! We stayed for 2 nights and that was perfect, there is not so much to do besides snorkelling and trekking.

I really love when you can snorkel from the beach, it means I can go out anytime I like and the snorkelling from the beach was beautiful. The second day we did the trekking to look for animals and se the view. We managed to see Black monkeys and some deer, but we saw the track from a big snake probably a phyton and we heard the wild bores.

When we had lunch, some deer decided to join us, they were just a few meters away and that’s a cool experience. You’re rally in for a relaxed time. The staff is so friendly and do anything to make you’re experience great.

After our days here it was time to move on. The nest stop I Lovina and a dolphin trip. Its really cool when youre driving to have monkey around the road but you have to watch out because they are like dogs and could run out in road when you least expect it. Some of them are quite big as well.

We arrived in Lovina just in time, the sky decided to open up and a massive rain came.

 When you´re on a scooter you’re happy to be in reach for a shelter when it starts raining it’s  not like were used to, a little water from the sky, here it literally is flooding down from the heaven. It made us take a pitstop in our search for a hotel. We did manage to find a nice hotel close to the beach with nice pool area. Even if you live close to the beach the pool is great after a trip or if you just don’t want the sandy salty beach 😊 We stayed at My Hotel Lovina and it was great.

The reason we went to Lovina is just only the black sand on the beach but we made a trip to watch the dolphins. Wow DON`T MISS when you´re in Bali. It was the most amazing trip. We went out on a small boat at drove for 40 minuts. Then we arrived to the dolphins and there were a lot of them. On our boat you could be in the water with your snorkelling gear and watch the dolphins from above. What a show they put on! It´s just amazing to sit and watch them in the wild
