We leave The Ark early to drive on to the next stop Lake Nakuru. Our Guide tells us about the area we pass through throughout the journey. It is so interesting to hear about energy extracted from volcanoes and what their daily life is like. Lake Nakuru meets us with fantastic views and flamingos standing at the water’s edge. It is difficult to describe the days when most of a safari consists of driving around the savannah and searching. But it doesn’t matter, it’s so exciting. Going around and scouting takes a lot of energy and it’s lucky that we have fantastic accommodation that offers relaxation and wonderful food. To see the rhinos standing in front of our car was a bit scary but so cool. I can recommend to take a few days and drive to different places and see all the animals.
