Day four we wake up extra early. For some strange reason, we have booked a balloon flight over the savannah. I don’t know why as I have an extreme fear of heights and even when we get up and are about to leave I am not sure I will make it. Just the thought of floating with the help of hot air in a basket 100 meters above the ground makes me sick to my stomach. But I give in and we go up. I can say that it is one of the best experiences I have experienced. The feeling of floating almost silently above the ground is indescribable. We see both elephants and a large male lion who is out for a walk. You get a completely different overview and I would definitely do it again (I think). When we land, we are treated to a huge breakfast that is laid out on the savannah. What a service and so good. However, one has a small eye on the horizon so that no hungry animal appears. After breakfast, we continue our journey of discovery and land on the border between Tanzania and Kenya. On this stretch we see both hippos, elephants and crocodiles. You see so many animals that you are completely amazed. They are not at all afraid of the cars. It will be an early evening after today’s exploits.
