So glad we booked 5 days. We chose to have our own Jeep and our own driver and that meant we could manage our days ourselves. We got to see the big 9 and on the last day we only had leopard left and could then focus on finding it and we did. We could also steer a little when we wanted to be back or set off on a new journey of discovery. Our driver was great and it was absolutely the right decision. We didn’t have to consider everyone else. The journey back goes through a landscape you are not used to. There are cows on the road and cars everywhere. The mountains are high and the roads are narrow. Not the best combination, remember I’m afraid of heights? When we get back to Nairobi, it’s just a matter of repacking and trying to take in the impressions of the last few days, because now we’re going on to Zanzibar for some sun and beach vacation.
