So then it’s time. In a week’s time, we’ll be on a plane to a whole new continent. SOUTH AMERICA. This trip wasn’t really planned but we’re so excited! We will experience both Machu Picchu and Galapagos for about two weeks. That’s what happens when you’re bored during the Christmas holidays. We had just returned from Bali and realized that the right temperature to snorkel in the Galapagos is in the spring. Then there were only two options, either we leave in 2024 or 2025. Why wait?

So 2024 it was and we started chasing trips. As time was short, we made the choice to get help so this trip is not booked by ourselves but through a travel agency. It puts my control needs to the test. Now it’s time to start packing and the first thing is to make sure we have all the documents with us. We will move quite a lot, which means that there are many pieces of the puzzle that will have to fall into place and we will be both in cold mountains and on a hot cruise. But clothing is secondary.

The first thing we checked out was vaccinations. We didn’t need to refill anything as we are already well vaccinated. We also keep track of the roadmap and insurance. The passports are ready and this weekend the backpacks will be brought back to life. On this trip, CAMERA is the only important I think. We will continuously update the blog with both text and pictures so keep an eye out. Most of it comes as usual first on Instagram but this time it will also come faster on the blog than our trip to Africa did when the technology was not a good friend of mine and the website for a long time.
