Lake Titicaca Worlds highest lake

A magical day on the world’s highest navigable lake, Lake Titicaca!

Our first visit was to the Uros Islands, floating islands made entirely of reeds. The warmth and hospitality of the Uros people made this experience truly special as they shared their traditions, lifestyle, and craftsmanship with us.

Next, we sailed to Taquile Island, where we hiked to the top, rewarded with breathtaking views of the deep blue lake and the distant snow-capped mountains. The people of Taquile are known for their exquisite textiles, and we marveled at their artistry before enjoying a fresh, locally prepared lunch.

As we sailed back to Puno, the sun cast a golden glow over the lake, making for the perfect ending to an extraordinary day.

Every day of this journey has been filled with wonder, discovery, and moments that will stay with us forever. Peru, with its rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and warm-hearted people, has truly captured our hearts!
