Prague is hard to describe with word. This blogpost have a lot of pictures but one thing is for sure. You must feel it.
Prague welcomed us with cobblestone charm, Gothic towers, and the golden glow of European history. It didn’t take long for us to fall head over heels for this fairytale city.
We stayed at the enchanting Hotel U Zlateho Jelena (At the Golden Deer), a hidden gem tucked just steps away from Old Town Square. This boutique hotel isn’t just charming—it’s steeped in history. With roots dating back to the 14th century, the building itself has witnessed centuries of change, yet lovingly preserved its historic soul. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, creaky staircases, and elegant details reminded us we were living in a storybook setting. Each morning, we woke to the soft sounds of the city below and the scent of fresh coffee from the cozy breakfast room—an atmosphere as warm as it was authentic.
Over three beautiful days, we wandered Prague’s winding streets and stumbled upon its stories around every corner. We crossed Charles Bridge at sunrise, lingered in the quiet courtyards of Prague Castle, and marveled at the astronomical clock as it chimed in the square. There’s something about Prague’s narrow alleys and hidden courtyards that draws you in. The more you explore, the more the city seems to whisper its secrets.
But the true surprise of our stay came on Day 2, when we decided to indulge in something uniquely Czech—the Bernard Beer Spa.
Tucked inside a beautiful historic building, the experience began the moment we stepped through the doors and were greeted with the cozy scent of wood, hops, and warmth. After changing into linen spa robes, we were led into a private room featuring large, handcrafted oak tubs filled with a bubbling mix of beer extracts, hops, and yeast—all from the renowned Bernard Brewery.
And the best part? Next to the tub was a personal tap of unlimited Bernard beer. Yes, really.

As we sank into the tub, the warm mixture relaxed every muscle in our bodies. The natural ingredients are said to have amazing effects on the skin, circulation, and even the immune system. But more than that—it was just blissfully fun. We laughed, sipped our beers, and let the centuries-old traditions of Czech brewing work their magic.
After soaking, we were wrapped in warm blankets and rested on straw beds in a candlelit room, listening to soft music and letting our bodies fully unwind. We left with glowing skin, big smiles, and that tipsy kind of joy that only a beer spa can give you.

Our time in Prague was short, but it left an impression as deep as its history. With ancient charm, incredible stories, and even a bath in beer—it was a city that gave us a little bit of everything. 🍻✨
We stepped into Výtopna Railway Restaurant—and instantly became kids again. Tiny trains zipped along tracks that crisscrossed the entire dining room, delivering frosty beers straight to our table with a charming clink. Laughter filled the air as everyone waited for their next round to arrive by rail. The food was delicious, the vibe playful, and the whole experience felt like dinner and a show all in one. A must-visit for beer lovers, train fans, and anyone who enjoys a little magic with their meal!
On our second evening in Prague, we stepped out of modern time and walked straight into another century—literally. Tucked beneath stone arches in the heart of the old city, we found ourselves at one of the most unforgettable dining experiences of the trip: a medieval dinner like no other.
From the moment we entered the ancient tavern, lit by flickering candlelight and filled with the scent of roasted meats and spiced wine, we knew we were in for a true spectacle. The vaulted ceilings, wooden benches, and thick stone walls instantly transported us to a bygone era.
The evening unfolded with a multi-course feast, each dish heartier and more flavorful than the last. We were served rich soups in rustic bowls, juicy roasted meats, and crispy potatoes, followed by generous platters of Czech specialties. Everything was served by staff in full medieval costume, shouting hearty welcomes and clanking mugs as they moved between long communal tables. Our stone goblets never ran dry, constantly filled with local beer or mead—sweet and dangerously delicious!
And then there was the show. What a wild, wonderful chaos of fire breathers, belly dancers, sword fights, jugglers, and live folk music echoing through the stone hall. Every few minutes brought a new surprise. One moment, a duet of violins made the room hum with energy, and the next, a flame dancer had us gasping in awe.
Laughter, music, and the occasional clash of swords surrounded us for hours. It was loud, theatrical, and completely immersive—everything a medieval feast should be. We found ourselves toasting with strangers, clapping along with the music, and fully giving in to the moment.
When we finally stepped back out into the cool Prague night, it felt as if we’d truly traveled back in time—and come out with full bellies, flushed cheeks, and stories we’ll be telling for years.

Prague isn’t just a place you visit. It’s a place you feel. And on that night, in that cellar of roaring laughter and glowing firelight, we felt it more than ever.
