During our time in Brunei, we stayed at Poni Homestay – a simple yet very welcoming place located close to the coast and not far from the city center.

The rooms were basic but clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The real highlight, however, was the friendly staff who went out of their way to help us arrange activities like city tours, and boat rides to Kampong Ayer.

Each morning, a light breakfast was served outside our rooms. The homestay was just a short ride from some of the best sunset spots along the northern coast. But you need transport to get around. Uber worked fine.

Poni Homestay was a perfect choice for us – affordable, friendly, and ideally located for exploring both Brunei’s city life and natural wonders.

We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed and authentic place to stay!
