Trading Sunburns for Frostbite – Iceland, Here We Come!

We have officially lost our minds.

The ones who worship tropical beaches, 35°C heat, and endless sunshine are now… planning a trip to Iceland. Yes, Iceland — where the weather report says things like “partly freezing” and “slightly less freezing.”

Are we scared?

A little.

Are we pumped?

ABSOLUTELY.

Here’s the master plan (or “how to nearly freeze to death in style” as we’re calling it):

Launch ourselves into the freezing Atlantic on a RIB boat to chase whales (at high speed, because whales wait for no one). Defrost ourselves in hot springs like soggy tea bags.

Sleep inside a lighthouse. Because why not combine claustrophobia and ghost stories?

Drive along the wild South Coast to Vík, stopping every five minutes to say “WOW” while losing feeling in our fingers.

Crawl into lava tunnels — apparently crawling through ancient volcanic death traps is a thing now. Snorkel in Silfra where the water is 2°C and you’re basically swimming in the cracks between two continents. (We’re bringing extra socks. For our souls.)

And we’re squeezing all of this into just four days.

In a country where summer is just a lighter shade of winter.

What could possibly go wrong?

Stay tuned for cold noses, frozen smiles, and the greatest adventure yet!
