Today was the day we had been waiting for—our visit to the legendary Machu Picchu!

The morning started with a scenic Vistadome train ride from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. The journey itself was magical, with panoramic views of the Urubamba River, lush valleys, and towering peaks.

Upon arrival, we took a short bus ride up to Machu Picchu, and then, there it was—one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World! The sight of the ancient citadel nestled among the misty mountains was simply breathtaking. With our knowledgeable guide, we explored the ruins, walking through temples, terraces, and secret pathways, uncovering the mysteries of this sacred site.

After soaking in the energy of Machu Picchu, we returned to Aguas Calientes, where we had some time to wander the charming town before boarding our return train. What a truly unforgettable day!
