Who are Goldpackers

Why do we do this? 

We love to travel and meet new cultures; we love to experience new places in the world but during Covid 10 we discovered that the world needs tourists.  Just on Bali about 60 % of the island depends on tourist. This has been a disaster for them. We want to combine the possibility to travel sustainable but jet to tribute and give back to the locals that need it.  

What is “Goldpackers”? 

Goldpackers is the name of my and my husband’s dream. We had children quite early, but we always had a dream of traveling the world. This is our journey to fulfill this dream. We want to show that it is possible and inspire others to follow their dream (whether it is traveling or something else). The dream is to travel the world backpacking but with a touch of gold because we reached (almost) the golden year 50. In today’s world we all live in an increasingly stressful environment and we want to help others see that there is so much more in our lives. The time to do so is now
